Tea Recipies
Masala Chai (Masala tea) 
Ingredients
- 5 to 7 green cardamom pods
- 3 to 4 cloves
- 1 to 2 star anise (optional )
- 5 to7 peppercorns (optional)
- 1 cup of water
- 2 to 3 slices ginger
- ½ cinnamon stick
- 1 to 2 tablespoons loose leaf black tea or 1 to 2 tea bags
- 1 cup milk, almond milk, soy milk or whole milk.
- 2 to3 teaspoons honey or sugar
Instructions
- Crush cardamom, cloves and peppercorns and place in a small pot with 1 cup of water. Add ginger, cinnamon and black tea.
- Bring to a boil. Turn off heat and let seep for at least 10 minutes. The longer, the more flavor.
- Add milk. Bring to a boil again and turn off the heat.
- Sweeten, taste, strain into a glass.
- Drink & Enjoy!
Green tea with peach and strawberry
Ingredients
- 2 tea spoons of green whole leaf tea
- ½ slice of peach
- 4 slices of strawberry
How to prepare
- Pour 150 ml of cold water into a big heat proof pitcher then add 450 ml of boiling water on it. Add tea leaves and sliced fruits. Leave it to steep for 2 minutes.
- In parallel, fill the teapot with boiling water to warm it. After tea has steeped, pour away the water in the teapot then pour the green tea in it, leaving the fruit and tea leaves behind.
- Decorate with extra fruit slices if you like.

Chai tea (Chai Latte)
Ingredients
- 2 mugs of milk
- 2 black tea bags
- 6 cardamom pods
- ½ cinnamon stick
- A little piece of nutmeg
- 2 cloves
- 2 to 4 tea spoons of brown sugar
How to prepare
- Pour the milk in a casserole and heat it over a very low heat. Empty the contents of the tea bags into the casserole, then add the cracked cardamom pods, cinnamon stick, nutmeg and cloves.
- Sweeten with brown sugar then leave to infuse for 10 minutes, but not boil. Strain into mugs.
- Drink & Enjoy!
Rooibos and pear tea
Ingredients
- 1 sliced pear
- ½ cinnamon stick
- 2 tea spoons of rooibos leaf tea
How to prepare
- Put the pear slices into a big pan; add 600 ml water and the piece of cinnamon stick. Bring them to a boil then cook the pear slices for 5 to 6 minutes.
- Take the pan off the heat and add the rooibos tea.
- Let the mixture to steep for 2 to 3 minutes then strain into a warm teapot to serve.
- Decorate with extra pear slices if you like.

Fresh mint tea
Ingredients
- 2 cups of fresh water

- 15 fresh mint leaves
- 2 teaspoons sugar or honey ( 1 teaspoon per cup)
- Ice (Optional)
- Lemon slices (Optional)
- Lemon juice (Optional)
How to prepare
- Pour the fresh water to a casserole and bring it to a boil.
- Remove the casserole from the heat and add mint leaves.
- Let the mixture to steep for 3 to 5 minutes.
- Add optional sweetener sugar or honey as desired.
- In case of serving iced, fill tall glasses with ice and pour the tea over.
- In case of serving hot, pour the tea into mugs. Garnish with optional lemon slices or lemon juice to taste.

Pomegranate and Black Tea Drink 
Ingredients
- 60ml fresh pomegranate juice
- 15ml cinnamon syrup
- 1 tea bag of black tea blend with orange and spice
- 120 to 180 ml hot water
How to prepare
- Pour the pomegranate juice and cinnamon syrup into a warm mug.
- Add the tea bag and fill with hot water.
- Allow to steep for 2 minutes, and then remove the tea bag.
- Stir well.
- Garnish with a cinnamon stick.
- Drink & Enjoy!
English breakfast Tea
Ingredients
- Assam black tea
How to prepare
- Heat water to 100˚C.
- Place tea in the cup and pour water over the leaves.
- Steep for 3 to 5 minutes.
- Drink & Enjoy!
Iced Tea Latte (Milk Tea)
Ingredients 
- 4 teaspoons breakfast tea leaves
- 250ml boiling water
- 50ml milk, soy milk, almond milk or rice milk
- Honey as sweetener (Optional)
How to prepare
- Steep 4 teaspoons of tea leaves in 250ml boiling water for 5 minutes.
- Strain tea leaves.
- Pour tea into 500ml shaker, filled the rest with ice cubes and shake well.
- Froth 50ml of milk to twice its original volume.
- Add iced tea concentrate to milk.
- Sweeten with honey or vanilla (Optional)
- Drink & Enjoy!
Mango Iced Tea
Ingredients
- 2 medium sized mangoes
- 3 teaspoons black tea or 2 to 3 black tea bags
- 4 cups water
- ½ or ¾ tablespoon lemon juice or as required
- Sugar as required
- A few mint leaves for garnishing
How to prepare
- Peel, chop, Puree and refrigerate the mangoes.
- Heat water on a stove top.
- Add the black tea and stir.
- Cover and let the tea steep for 5 to7 minutes.
- Strain and keep the tea in the fridge.
- Once the tea is cooled, pour it in a blender.
- Add the mango puree, lemon juice and sugar.
- Blend everything till smooth.
- Serve the mango iced tea in tall glasses with some ice cubes garnished with mint leaves or mango slices or lemon slices.
